Bicycle Racing at Palm Beach International Raceway May 30, 2015
Although bicycle racing has speeds just over 30mph and motorcycle racing reaches 160 mph, some times it is harder to photograph a bicycle race.
At motorcycle and car races you can here the pack coming. So I get up out of my chair, pull the 9 pounds of camera and lens up to my eye and I am ready for the bikes to enter the turn exactly where I want to snap the moment of time.
But you can not hear bicycles until it is too late. It took me quite a few laps to learn that I have to be ready before I hear them coming.
